Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Nerdit, a study service that turns your own sources into study material.
Your account
You must be aged 18 or older to create an account or subscribe. Keep your sign-in details private and give accurate information. One person per account.
Study credits and plans
- Each account includes 2 study credits in total (not per month). One credit is used only when an AI generation succeeds and is saved; failed or cancelled generations do not use a credit.
- Studying, reviewing, quizzing, planning, collaborating and reading saved material never use credits.
- Plus costs US$6 monthly or US$48 billed once yearly. Pro costs US$12 monthly or US$108 billed once yearly. Annual prices are not monthly installments. Applicable tax and any currency conversion are shown at Dodo checkout before confirmation.
- Public subscription checkout is currently closed. A checkout labelled LIVE charges real money; a checkout labelled TEST moves no real money.
AI allowances
Paid plans do not promise unlimited AI. Every plan is subject to up to 30 generations an hour, one generation at a time, source/output size limits, and 6 provider calls per minute / 60 per hour per account. One job may make several calls. Shared website AI safety caps are US$1/day and US$20/calendar month (UTC), including speech, with a separate US$0.25/day speech sublimit. New AI pauses for all plans when a shared cap is reached. These are not personal credits or guaranteed capacity; saved study and existing audio stay available. Source size limits are upper bounds; an individual request can be refused when its conservative cost reservation exceeds the remaining shared budget.
Payment, renewal and cancellation
Dodo Payments provides hosted checkout and acts as merchant of record for the transaction. Subscriptions renew at the selected monthly or yearly price until cancelled. Paid access starts after a verified successful payment, not merely a browser return. Manage billing or cancel renewal from Plans in your signed-in account. Cancellation stops future renewal and retains paid access until the verified paid period ends; then the account returns to Free and saved material stays available. A cancellation alone does not refund a charge. See Refunds and cancellation for first-payment and accidental-renewal refunds. Account deletion requires confirmed cancellation first.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you upload and create. You allow Nerdit to store and process it to provide the service, including sending selected material to the AI provider when you ask for an AI feature. Only upload or share material you have the right to use.
AI output
AI-generated cards, questions, explanations, summaries and grades can be wrong or incomplete. Review them before relying on them. Practice grades are feedback, not official marks, and nothing in Nerdit is medical, legal or other professional advice.
Acceptable use
- No unlawful, infringing or harmful content, and no harassment of other members.
- No attempts to access other accounts, bypass limits or credits, probe for vulnerabilities without permission, or overload the service.
- No automated scraping or resale of the service.
Sharing and classes
Space owners and teachers control who can see and edit shared material. Reports about published material are reviewed by the operator, who may unpublish it.
Availability
Nerdit may change, pause for maintenance or stop features. Your saved work is kept safe during maintenance. There is no uptime guarantee.
Ending your use
You can export your data and delete your account at any time from Settings. Accounts that break these terms may be suspended.
Disclaimer
To the extent the law allows, Nerdit is provided as is, without warranties. These terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply where you live.
